Went back and forth on that trying to figure out what they were fastened to.
When you look at the section left on the vehicle it is definitely frame
member which should have meant the tie down point.
Yet when you look a the bumper section you see what appears to be a tie down
point but definitely is not strong enough. Is suspect that the vehicle had
bogged into and packed in solid. I would not have attempted to pull that
vehicle out. I would have been jacking and digging first. Spent to many
years in frozen climates to make that mistake. Here in balmy colorado we
are supposed to hit 2 degrees tomorrow. I think somebody sent minnesota
weater down here.
