The Vanagon handles stick out further and the distance from between the holes is diffferent.

Yes, you can reuse the lock cylinder or you can simply switch the lock wafers (like pins only flat with keyhole in middle). I just did this myself last night so my locks can all match. It is time consuming and probabaly best left to experts. First ojne I did took me an hour to do. Subsequent one took me less than 15 minutes each side. Of course, I had lots of extra wafers to pick from. The worst part of the job is popping the pin out that holds the cylinder in the handle.
