FYI, I saw an Xr4Ti a month or so ago at the "U-Wrench-It" in Virginia Beach. There was also an early 80s Vanagon there, too, which still had a lot of parts on it. This is actually a pretty nice boneyard, very well run and organized, with a good variety of vehicles. Prices are reasonable, and they even have a return policy.

I think early (79 or so) Mercury Capri and Ford Mustang Turbos shared the same engine (2.3l turbo) as the Xr4Ti and Thunderbird Turbo, so parts from them might work, too. (I used to have an 1979 Mercury Capri RS Turbo, which was fun little car until the turbo died.)
