I have found them to be very helpful, the source of some unique items, and not the cheapest place to get common items. But they do know what they are talking about when it comes to westies. When I first got the pile of loose cabinets and missing parts that became my westy, they were patient and instrumental in helping me find the right parts even though I didn't really know what I needed. When they didn't have it, they turned me on to the name of salvage yards that could help.

For christmas, my wife gave me a westy side step made by Bus Boys that gowesty carries. She googled "vanagon side step," found gowesty and they took it from there.

They are not the only helpful list vendor, and although they might know "everything" about vanagon running gear, I do not think of them as a source of regular vanagon parts. Just my thinking.

No cautions to pass along. I have nothing to do with them other than be a customer once in a while.

Jim
