Sorry, this is an 84 GL with the original 1.9L.  1000 mile-old Castrol
20w-50, as usual.  Non-leakingly attached Mann filter, also as usual.

Can oil viscosity really break down in such a short time?  the GF did
a few around-town trips a couple weeks ago (who knows how she drives
alone!!) but other than that its been me doing normal mellow driving.


I'll start digging for the wiring connections I guess... looks like
the monsoon stopped temporarily.
