Craig, First check the archives on this subject. There is tons of good info there. http://gerry.vanagon.com/archives/vanagon.html Some of the issues I recall are 1> the oil cooler. Needed for the longer stroke engine. 2>exhaust system. The 1.9L system's does not permit the usage of the oil cooler.

The .9 bar sensor is not needed with the digijet system. The sensor is screwed into an adapter so you might be able to find/make an adapter to use the oil temp sensor.
