Jim, I live in North Yorkshire, England. Up here were on a longitude slightly north of Goose Bay, Canada, and it gets pretty cold up on the moors. I friend of mine who was a member of the mountain rescue once gave me a tip. If your LPG won't light because it's too cold, try putting the cylinder between your legs and cuddling it for ten minutes to warm it up a bit. Might not be the first thing you'd want to try on a freezing cold morning, but it would be a good way to test if it's just the cold affecting your gas. Cheers, Stew. |
