My oops. Missed that the first time. Looking at the pic of the part that the handle will mount to I went back out and looked at the side panel I took off of my van and the cover from the other camper door I have. Neither had a handle. When I got them. However on the panel originally on my 82 there was a plastic cover plug in that position. After looking at the handles and the door mechanism even on a nonwesty it would be simple to add that handle if the parts could be found. I suspect that is what happened with my own westy. The handle mounting point probably failed and a factory type plug was put in the hole. However the other westy never had a hole for a handle in the panel. Looking through some stuff trying to match up P (package) info I am not able to match up to any. However I am no longer finding that surprising. I have found the listings of what is in a certain package is not always correct when you get to something like that handle. Curious now as to what determined what van got the extra handle. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• jimt Planned insanity is best.
