Yes, this is a bit more of a PITA.  I use a  block of wood on the floor jack
saddle to lift on the double crossmembers that  hold the steering rack.  Since
the two edges of those cross members are not  at the same level it is
important to get the piece of wood seated properly on  those two edges and the centre
of the jack saddle in the centre of the two  crossmember edges.  Like I said
a PITA.  Unless it's a Syncro.   Then it's EASY, just jack from the bush guard
mount !  Probably the only  advantage to a Syncro.  Flame suit on !
