Has anyone lately tightened up your instrument pod?

Only joking.

There is a small green gear that tends to work itself along a small shaft within the speedo. It'll eventually work itself till it no longer meshes with the gear that is supposed to drive it. Best remedy is to find a VDO speedo shop. Should be a $75 -$100 repair, and they will be able to properly calibrate your speedo while they're at it.
