whack it with your fist in the bottom front corner really fast, then pull it at the bottom front corner.. repeat, repeat, repeat. if all fails grab in bottom front corner and pull really hard (when your van is warm inside) and it will pull the little latch screws out of the back of the table. then you can throw the latch away and put big industrial strength velcro back there to hold the table down..
