I was getting tired of crunching numbers while looking up various Vanagon transmission ratios, so I put together an Excel spreadsheet which allows me to compare some of the choices available, adjust for tire size, input custom gearing, and show results at various RPM in metric or imperial.

It's nothing groundbreaking that hasn't been done already by Derek Drew and others, but I added metric units, and a quick comparison of the transmissions at a given RPM as well, which I found useful.
