"try putting the cylinder between your legs and cuddling it for ten minutes"

... please, do not take my comments in a negative way. This struck me so funny in context of the propane tank on my van. I got this mental picture of me, laying on the driver side ground, under my van, legs pitched up, tank between my knees ..... anyway, you get my meaning. Thanks for the hoot .... or was it just an inside-job for me. Although I DO have a weird and meaningful relationship with my van, this extends the length of that considerably.

Jim, I live in North Yorkshire, England. Up here were on a longitude slightly north of Goose Bay, Canada, and it gets pretty cold up on the moors. I friend of mine who was a member of the mountain rescue once gave me a tip. If your LPG won't light because it's too cold, try putting the cylinder between your legs and cuddling it for ten minutes to warm it up a bit. Might not be the first thing you'd want to try on a freezing cold morning, but it would be a good way to test if it's just the cold affecting your gas. Cheers, Stew.
