When I was redoing the keying on my 82 I accidently put the shorter late
model handle on.  It works fine.  Just takes a little ooomph to open with
the reduce leverage.

The interior handle was probably added by a PO and is something I am trying
to figure out how to add to my own van.  It would make it easier to close
the door a little quieter and easier to close from the seat as well.
