Subject: Tachometer Signal ?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi-

Is there anyone who knows how I can get a tachometer signal from my Motronic engine?

I changed the fuel injection system last year from Digifant 2 to '95 Motronic and since I don't have a working tachometer.

I haven't had time til now to try to figure it out, and I haven't yet.

The Vanagon tachometer wire is red/black and connecting to the #1 terminal of the coil does nothing. I can't find anything on the subject . My tach worked before I did the switch.

There is a crankshaft and camshaft position sensor- anyone else have a ABA '93-'99 2.0 A-3 engine in their Vanagon with a working tach?

If you do I'd like to hear from you- thanks-

Robert
