All,
I got several great responses(typical of the list) but I failed to
clarify my request. What I found on the sticker with the paint code
(LB7Y-Vesuvius Grey Metallic--What a color name. Looks like silver to
me.) But I also found the following numbers G11, R74, and 573 on the
sticker next to the word "options". Now, it's probably not as
important as say on a Porsche 911 where you might end up with limited
slip or the Carrera option, but being a VW geek, I gots to know!
Anyone know what these codes might mean or where to run the numbers? I
figured out the VIN from my Syncro (too bad they didn't come with the
locking front diff and the code to match in North America. What a
surprise that would have been!!) I thought about asking the dealer,
than I came out of my drug induced coma. YMMV with your local dealer
but here in Melbourne FL, they can't even recognize a Karmamn Ghia let
alone spell Syncro.
Thanks
TJ
