Hi Jesse,

Check out the website www.vwvortex.com. There is an A1 specific web based group in there, I've found a few rabbit specific vendors by going there (didnt save any links, sorry) - along with lots of information and used stuff for sale. (RVC: There is also a vanagon group in there in case folks didn't know - same deal - used parts and information.) The A1 group is a LOT busier however, fwiw.

I'll presume it's not a diesel - but if it is - there are a couple of really good diesel lists. One is in yahoo groups - it's called Audi-VW-Diesels. The other can be found at www.audifans.com. (Several vanagon owners on these! :-)

There used to be an A1 specific listserv around, but it died out. Other than the GTI's and racers/tuners, it seems like most folks running the older stuff are running diesels. You can't beat 'em - high mpg and they run forever...
