Ain't the internet great?

I know that Daimler (or DaimlerChrysler or Daimler-Benz, whatever makes your boat float) also owns Messerschmidt, Dornier, part of Airbus Industrie, and several other aircraft related companies as well, but they're probably listed under a different coporate umbrella.

Cheers,

Jeff

Daimler is/was an English company, now a subdivision of jaguar (which is of course a currently subsidiary of Frod).

To the best of my knowledge Mercedes isn't owned by anyone, but took over Daimler-Benz after the war.
