Sounds like it needs to be scrapped & the flame spreaders sent to moi! No really, I need a flame spreader (the cast alum? Piece on the burner top) as I was careless in cleaning the stove top & the spreader got loose & started to melt when I ignited the burner one a.m. Has this ever happened to anyone else? All I can figure is that w/ it loose, it blocked the heat which caused it to concentrate on the spreader & overheat it.

Anyone want to sell moi an extra one or 2?

Pax,

Tom Buese-getting ready for Buses by the Bridge IX & need 1 badly
