Tom, I was told not to fix anything until you've failed. Once you are failed by a test only station any worked done up to 500 dollars was covered less the first 100 dollars. My thought was to have others do the work up to 500 dollars. Collect up to 400 dollars and fix anything myself after that. Have a few years since it just squeaked past smog. Keep me posted. You must have the oem smog system in place before the 500 dollar clock kicks in. That is they will only pay for failed parts not missing parts.
