I eventually regretted drilling holes etc all over my 57 Panel, but eventually it was sold minus engine to someone who said he'd restore it... I bet it no longer exists. I loved that bus and wish I hadn't sold it...

Hear hear! And if I happen to find a hump on any road, I'm quite happy to give the tires a brief rest... do this occasionally, last time in my Bay at 80mph. Make sure you land STRAIGHT though...

Sounds like your rear alignment may be out... if so, the vehicle will crab along the road... this may well be visible from a following vehicle.
