Syncros sliding door tryed to get away last night. Rear roller broke in two piece. Axually there are three rollers at the rear of a 1986 and newer vanagon. The roller that broke is vertical and looks like a belt could run in it. Anyone have a source for this roller?

One more thing I forgot. If the roller groove is still good then you can just change the bearing. The groove in the roller does wear also. If it looks like a V then it is worn and the door will hang too low. It is supposed to have flat bottom in the groove like this: \-/. It is a generic bearing which can be supplied by most any good bearing supply. Remove the old one and take it to them for matching. The other two bearings can also be obtained at your local bearing supply. I have them listed on my _Vanagon Items Forsale_ (http://members.aol.com/Fkc43/sales.htm) if you cannot find them locally.

Cheers,
