Keep the A/C installed. Just remove the fan belt from your compressor. You can repair the plastic parts by sanding down the interior area at the cracks and lay on a patch consisting of fiberglass fabric and a little resin. Some small cracks can be patched with J-B weld. Your Syncro will definately bring at least a few hundred more $ with the non functioning A/C parts in place.
