You all have convinced me to keep and repair the AC.

I called the local dealer (100 miles away) and they are ordering the recall
kit. I will get it installed on the 17th. Joel mentioned that the rear unit
was not covered by the recall (which will suck since that is the part
falling down). Anything they don't fix I will attempt to repair myself using
Stan's and Joel's advice.
