I just wanted to close the subject by thanking everyone who helped support
our week-long tsunami relief "fund drive," which ended today  - including
(or perhaps especially) those who emailed me to say that it had encouraged
them to make their own significant direct donations instead.  There are many
generous souls on this list.  On a related note, I want to apologize for my
subsequent on-list venting regarding the size of our government's initial
contribution (which incidentally they increased tenfold yesterday, to a
sizeable $350 million!), in that this was not the appropriate place for such
commentary. 


I wish you all peace, prosperity, and a mininum of Vanagon breakdowns during
the new year. (Okay, maybe I'll stop short of wishing you _no_ Vanagon
breakdowns; I have to make a living, after all!)  Thanks for your continued
support of The Bus Depot during 2004 (and for putting up with my periodic
rants, although at least they're usually Vanagon related:-). This is truly
an incredible community.
