Subject: Campertop restore/ Rhino liner
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

My maroon fiberglass campertop look more like a cross between pepto bismol and chaulk. I am a residential painter and on occasion use an oil based paint additive/conditioner called Penetrol. I was reading the label today and it said that it can also be used as a fiberglass restorer. I was wondering if anyone has had some experience with this at all or with any other product that will make the top look as good as when it rains.

Also, I got sick of the "upgraded" (more like overpriced, flimsy, plasticized) trim package and ripped it out and went back to plain black metal bumpers. Ahhhh!!! What pleasure. Now I need to deal with the small holes down the sides of the van that the rivets left. ANy ideas? I was considering RHino liner. ANyone ever done it?

Thanks, Oliver 91 Westy - Aiken, S.C.
