I installed the rear seat belt kits for my westy, and I love the Gowesty kit, great directions, ease of installation, high quality! I think you were being paranoid ,and there ain't nothin wrong with that but, their kit rocks. Just cause it has VW stamped on it, don't make it right. If that were the case , then why didn't they install the seat belts in the first place? But enough of that....

The VW belts for a Westy are PITA. The Gowesty were installed in less than an hour. I feel better with my children/passengers back there now.
