Just to confuse things more, I have 2 Eurovans.

'92 has factory alloys, 15x7, ET35 '97 Transporter has factory steel, 15x6, ET55, centre bore 58 mm

My understanding is Syncro requires 66 mm centre bore, so wheels need to be bored, same as Audi.

frank, Eurovan wheels are 45mm offset, and have a small hub hole like Audi wheels. basically they are audi wheels... so you have to do the same mods to a EV wheel as you have to do to a Audi wheels to get them to fit the vanagon..
