first--thanks to all of you who gave me all the info about my syncro question.

so here is what i now know about this van. the drive shaft was removed when it was towed by a previous owner. when said owner moved to another place of residence, the drive shaft was lost, or just plain forgotten about.

so as far as anyone can tell the whole system would work fine if the drive shaft was replaced. the seller of the van said the rear locker works... ive yet to look for a drive shaft, i will do so after i send this email.
