Easier to pass EPA (smog) than DOT (crash) tests, I'd bet. Precious little deformable structure in the front of a bay-window bus. Still, I'd bet a few get crashed in this country and end up in junkyards. My hope would be that maybe we could find a good shop south of the border and drive my 69 doublecab down there, cut it at the rocker panels and the dash to keep all the 1969 vin numbers and lower it onto the similar parts from a Mexibus. Wouldn't that fly? 2nd key thing would be GOOD shop. It is my belief that there are a great many skilled craftsmen in Mexico, but how to find one interested in doing the work? Al Brase
