Well, if you like mansion tours, right up there with Stan Hywet are 3 in the Detroit area. Henry Ford's Fairlane, Edsel's up north in Grosse Pointe, and the Matilda Dodge house in (?) Rochester (very darn close to VW of A offices and only a short distance from Parts Place for VW. Anyway, that's the wrong lake. In Duluth is another nice mansion. I can't remember the name, but it's about the last turn before the interstate evaporates into a cow path. And the state park Joy mentioned is Jay Cook State Park. VERY interesting geological formations. This was the first part of the Grand Portage. Some whitewater there for the truly brave! Al Brase
