Follow Stans insturctions regarding keeping the AC. As for the Plastics, if the tunnel is a problem, it is a DOT mandated safety recall for a permanent fix. Check with your dealership to see if your vehicle is eligible. If it has not been fixed before, then you definitely can expect VW make good at no cost to you. BTDT.
