Hey Matt,

As a homebrewer, the thought has definitely crossed my mind. =) If attempting this project, might I suggest using a "Corny" keg. Its basically a 5 gallon soda keg, not specifically designed for beer. They're very popular in the homebrew arena because they can be acquired easily and inexpensively. They're also easy to clean and can keep beer indefinitely (as opposed to a commercial full or pony keg with your standard "party tap"). They are tall and narrow, looking somewhat like an oversized fire extinguisher.

Depending on how much beer you expect to serve at a time, simply putting the keg in the closet with a jockey box may be the best route.

Cheers, JD
