Bill,

Have you looked at Tom Carrington and Ben Huot's web pages about this task? They both deal with the whole process of removing, cleaning, repacking, and reinstalling the axles, but should have what you need there, since you also have to take out your old ones.

Ben's info builds on Tom's, but I have not read Ben's carefully enough to know if everything from Tom's is found in Ben's version. So check them both.
