First, check the archives. This has been covered numerous times. Very common problem. The gremlin could be in one or more of numerous places. Contacts in either of the motor switches. Wiring between motors, especially in the boots between the door and body. Constant bending will crack the wire casing and one or more wires have broken and or corroded. Most common on the drivers side as it gets more action. Wire connector plugs, terminals corroded. Remember that the problem with one door switch MAY be caused by problems in the other door. They are all interconnected and transfer power back and forth to one another depending on what your input is.
