This is a good charger to keep a battery maintained, especially for
storage. It will not charge the battery quickly after any discharge nor
help if the engine doesn't start readily on its own. For the price, it
is a good deal. For long term storage, be aware that continued operation
will drive some water out of a battery so maintenance free batteries
should be occasionally disconnected, especially when the weather gets

cold season when I have the block heater plugged in so I can have a
