Due to the storms up at the divide the eisenhaur tunnel area has been on and off chain law about every other day. A several hour closure about every 3 or 4 days. I70 also has a lane restriction as you get up towards the tunnel for about 6 more months. A major rock slide a couple months ago punched a hole right through two lanes of a bridge. Closed that stretch of the highway for about 3 days while they cleaned up the slide and redid the lanes around the hole. It was a very scenic 100 mile detour though while they did that work. Contract for the repair is out but weather is not cooperating.
