I've still got the original bra that was purchased w/ my 84 Westy when new. It's almost time to replace it, but it has no mildew stains on it after 21 years. However, I only run w/ it when I am on the highway/freeway to avoid bugs & rock chips. The rest of the time I leave it in the garage. I take it off whenever I wash the van, but I have never worried about it getting wet, & have not seen any paint problems on the nose.

FWIW,

Tom Buese-gonna put it on tonite for the BBB 600 mile-1 way trip.
