Subject: A/C wiring on 84s
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Is there a good place to find a schematic or list of electrial parts for the A/C in early Vanagons? My Bentley book skims over the A/C wiring in the 86s and later but doesn't seem to do much at all with the earlier A/C systems and mine is very different from the 86s and up from what I can see.

Was also wondering if anyone knows offhand what the red wire that goes up into the pillar to the left of the windshield from fuse 6 or 7 (can't tell exactly it's so crowded). There is another wire that follows the same path for the rear defogger but can't figure out what this one was. Possibilities I can see from Bentley are the rear speaker on the driver side, the cabin lights, overhead AC fans? It's just very taught and I want to extend it if needed or if it's for the A/C, which I removed I'd pull it.

Thanks!
