I just went through the bentley as well. The only time they mention the add
on fuses is up through 85 for the underneath add on BA6 heater. Kind of
strange because every vanagon I have salvaged that had that fuse box also
had the heater or there was definite evidence that it had one time been
there.
Now for an interesting note. The 1980 through 85 refer you to specific
pages for info and provide no listing of fuses except for the heater.
However the 86 shows fuses for possibly
Aux heater fuse 1
Aux heater fuse 2
Emergency horn system
Central locking
Power windows
Butt warmer (canadian)
