Regarding below statement: I do stop because I'm usually on a long trip and the alternative of allowing the bra to get wet leads to the problem of cleaning and drying it. That's difficult when I'm on a cross country tour. I agree that if I'm in town I can allow the bra to get wet and then just hang it up on my front porch to dry but that's not the usual situation for me.

I think the bras are worth the trouble. I was once hit by a lot of rocks from a truck that drove off the pavement onto the gravel. The damage to my front end was about $300. Well worth the cost of a bra. Regards, Dan R. 1989 Westy 4speed (ENU)
