Yes, the large alternator post. Battery is about 10 feet away, except for those of us lucky enough to have diesels! The coil primary is higher voltage, I think, on electronic ignition. High enough to stop your heart. That's the reason for the yellow warning labels insulating shields and the word "Achtung!" . In German it means "ignore"! (Not actually!)
