I pass Ft. Desoto every day on the way to work as I cross the skyway bridge. It's a nice spot sticks out in the bay. IT can be crowded on weekend and holidays just like anywhere else. I have yet to camp there, but I have friends that do regularly. I can think of worse places. Although it's not as warm here right now as you might be thinking, it's 40F this AM. We Floridians and freezing to death :-P. However before the cold front came through iut was in 70-80's.. -----Original Message----- From: Benny boy [mailto:huotb@VIDEOTRON.CA] Sent: Tuesday, January 18, 2005 1:19 AM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Fort de soto in Florida (near Tampa), anyone???? anything HOT.... anything better than -20....HelPPPPP.......
