Grayton beach and the other upper gulf coast beaches would be a lot closer to you. I have never camped at Grayton Beach but have stayed at other area beaches, and you will probably never find a finer stretch of sand. Plus the little community of Grayton and the famous Red Bar. Everything toward Alabama got pretty torn up by Ivan but I think this area escaped harm. <http://www.floridastateparks.org/graytonbeach/default.asp> This Florida State Park site doesn't have good pictures, though.
