Titan red is not a vanagon color.
Titian red is a vanagon color, spelled with two i's, six letters.
Titian was an artist, a painter in the 1500s. http://www.ibiblio.org/wm/paint/auth/titian/

I know it is not burgandy, and it is not tornado red. Whatever red is
left that a 86 Vanagon could be, I guess it is. I thought Titan red was
a VW color (like Alpine white). I could be wrong.
