Subject:      2.1 valve cover keepers same as beetle's?

The machine shop that cleaned my 2.1 parts "misplaced" the wire bails
that keep the valve covers on my 2.1. They may or may not locate them
before I need to get the car running.

My local shop has a barrel full of these parts. How can I tell which
ones will fit my 2.1?
