Grayton beach and the other upper gulf coast beaches would be a lot
closer to you. I have never camped at Grayton Beach but have stayed at
other area beaches, and you will probably never find a finer stretch of
sand. Plus the little community of Grayton and the famous Red Bar.
Everything toward Alabama got pretty torn up by Ivan but I think this
area escaped harm.

This Florida State Park site doesn't have good pictures, though. Google
around for some.
