Subject: vanagon fiberglass bumper color confirmed!!!!

a while back we determined that the '87-'89 vanagon Carat/Wolfsburg fiberglass bumper/sideskirt color was "Jade Green Metallic" ... but it was uncertain what the '90-91 Carat/GL passenger vanagon fiberglass bumper/sideskirt color was..

anyway, i have done research and the color for the '90-'91 Carat/GL passenger vanagon fiberglass bumpers/sideskirts is: "Pewter Grey Metallic" LA7Y

so add this to the FAQ or your own notes..

ps: above only applies to passenger vans, not westfalias. the '88-'91 westys just used a generic satin black finish (which faded to that chalky charcoal color most of you see now). Also obviously doesnt apply to special models like '89 wolfsburgs which had body color matched bumpers/skirts

and pps: if you want to order a touchup spray can at your dealer, put a "0" after the first letter, and then a "06" after the end of the paint code (ie, L0A7Y 06 (the "06" means spray can)
