I have never had a problem with jb weld until my latest tube that I got for
a project.  4 days later it still hadnt hardened up correctly.  Even after
an almost double amount of hardner.  Threw those tubes out and went to
another store to get another pack.  That pack worked correctly.

I have even plugged holes in EGR filters and tubes on air cooled vanagons
with the stuff.  Works great.  My egr filter was almost completely jb weld
after two years as I plugged more holes in it.
