DO you hear anything when you switch the heater on?
 A click, or motors running? Were the wipers and
heater on at the same time?

Any sound at all? Blowing the fuse that the wiper
shares with the heater is evidence that there's a
short or a motor that is frozen, etc. Something is
drawing too much current.

The heater switch black wire goes to fuse S10 (Bentley
Pg 97.24).
There is a reset switch under the dash at the base of
the lower steering column cover.

operate this red switch gently -if you feel /hear a
"twang" then this indicates a component
malfunction/failure.

You should troubleshoot the problem before attempting
to restart the heater.
